RP-Bentonite is very fine clay with high surface area and high reactivity. It is  designed with appropriate mechanical properties to enhance the cohesive strength to give the ceramics good plasticity, good molding and more stability to raw pastes even more than ball clay.

RP-Bentonite can boost the adhesion between glaze and the support when added in a small percentage less than 3%.

RP-Bentonite gives better dry strength, hardness and more durable surface.

Use of RP-Bentonite as plasticizers in ceramic bodies reduces gaseous bubbles.
